Terms of Service

The agreement between you and Owleh when you use our delivery platform.

Last updated: 25 July 2026

In short

No contracts or minimums — you pay per delivery.

Couriers are independent contractors, vetted and onboarded by Owleh.

Don’t send illegal, hazardous or prohibited items.

Prices are shown before you confirm; payment is per delivery.

Some accounts may settle directly with the courier — Owleh isn’t party to those payments.

Governed by the laws of England and Wales.

1. About these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the services provided by Owleh Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales ("Owleh", "we", "us"). By creating an account or placing a delivery, you agree to these Terms.

If you are using Owleh on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.

2. The service

Owleh is a platform that connects businesses ("senders") with independent couriers for same-day parcel delivery.

We facilitate and coordinate deliveries. Couriers are independent contractors, not employees of Owleh.

3. Accounts & eligibility

You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure.

You must be at least 18 years old and operating a legitimate business to use the sender service.

4. Bookings & cancellations

When you submit a delivery, you make an offer that is accepted when a courier is assigned. You are responsible for the accuracy of pickup/drop-off details and instructions.

Cancellation terms depend on the stage of the delivery. A delivery already collected or in progress may be charged in full.

5. Pricing & payment

Prices are calculated based on distance, number of parcels and service level, subject to a minimum charge. Urgent deliveries incur a surcharge. The applicable price is shown before you confirm.

Payment is taken via your saved payment method (card processed by Stripe, or PayPal where enabled). You authorise us to charge the applicable fee for each delivery.

Direct settlement. For certain approved business accounts, a delivery may be arranged on a direct-settlement basis, where you pay the assigned courier directly and Owleh does not collect payment for that delivery or take any commission on it. Where a delivery is settled directly, Owleh is not a party to that payment: we do not process, hold, or guarantee it, we are not responsible for the amount agreed, its collection, or any refund, and any dispute over a directly-settled payment is solely between you and the courier. You are responsible for agreeing payment terms with, and paying, the courier.

Prices are stated in GBP.

6. Prohibited & dangerous goods

You must not send illegal items, hazardous materials, perishable goods that are improperly packaged, living creatures, cash, or anything restricted by law or carrier policy.

You are responsible for packaging items adequately for transit. We may refuse or stop a delivery that breaches this clause.

7. Liability & insurance

Deliveries are covered subject to limits and exclusions. Our total liability for any delivery is limited to the extent permitted by law and to the cover applicable to that delivery.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

Where a delivery is settled directly between you and the courier (see clause 5), Owleh is not liable for that payment, its non-payment, or any dispute arising from it, and such deliveries are not eligible for platform payment protection or refunds through Owleh.

8. Courier relationship

Couriers operate as independent contractors and are responsible for their own conduct. Owleh vets and onboards couriers but does not control the manner in which deliveries are performed beyond the platform’s requirements.

9. Intellectual property

The Owleh platform, branding and content are owned by Owleh or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute them without permission.

10. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or misuse of the service.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
